Cous Cous Salad

Cous Cous Salad

First, get the equipment ready.

Next, get the ingredients.

Carefully measure 350 millilitres of hot water, then stir in the stock powder.

Pour the stock over the cous cous in a large bowl – stir and then allow to stand until cold.

Next, prepare the vegetables:

  • chop the tomatoes
  • cut the cucumber into chunks
  • chop the pepper into small strips
  • chop the dried apricots, and then the parsley
  • snip the spring onions into the bowl using scissors.

Add the vegetables to the cous cous. Then pour over the dressing.

Finally, stir everything together.

In this demonstration you will see a fruit smoothie being made. Smoothies are quick to make, taste delicious and can be made with lots of different types of fruit.

In this demonstration, you will see a dip called hummus being made. Dips are eaten as a starter for a meal or at parties. They are also great in lunchboxes.

Simple Sandwiches

In this demonstration you will see two sandwiches being made. You can make thousands of different sandwiches, using different varieties of bread and lots of different fillings.
