Chunky Soup

Chunky Soup

First, get the equipment ready.

Next, get the ingredients.

Start by preparing the vegetables:

  • peel and dice the onion
  • cut away the top and bottom of the carrot, peel and dice
  • remove the outer layer of the leek, cut away the top and bottom of the leek, then slice it
  • cut the celery into chunks
  • and finally peel and cube the potato


Put the saucepan on the hob. Turn on the heat.

Add the oil and fry all the vegetables, except the potatoes, for 5 minutes.

Next, stir the flour into the vegetables, allow to cook for a moment, and then pour in the stock.

Add the potatoes and bring to the boil. When boiling rapidly, turn down the heat, cover with a lid and simmer for 30 minutes.

Chunky Soup

In this demonstration you will see vegetable soup being made. Soups are easy to make and can be made from lots of different ingredients.

Stir-Fry Prawns

In this demonstration you will see a stir-fried meal being made with prawns, orange, red pepper and ginger.

In this demonstration, you will see two quick and easy curries being made. Curries are made from a variety of different ingredients, including meat, fish and vegetables. All use a blend of spices.
