Lactose intolerance

What kinds of dairy foods can people with lactose intolerance eat?
Lactose intolerance stems from the lack of an enzyme called lactase.

We are all born with the enzyme, some people as they get older produce less of this enzyme and become intolerant to lactose.

Most people who are lactose intolerant can usually consume some milk and dairy products. Hard cheese can be consumed as it does not contain a lot of lactose. They can usually consume yogurt, because there in an enzyme naturally in yogurt which has the same function as the enzyme lactase.  Most people can usually consume small amounts of milk, but this does vary between individuals.
