Welcome to the age 8-11 years area of the Food – a fact of life website. The activities and resources in this area build on the knowledge and understanding children have developed from the age 5-8 years area.
This area contains the 3 modules:
A series of Key Facts provide structure for the modules, ensuring children learn the appropriate messages and skills. The Key Facts follow on from those in the age 5-8 area to ensure learning through the primary phase is progressive.
To support the Key Facts, each module contains lots of exciting resources including, interactive whiteboard activities, PowerPoint presentations, recipes, card activities and video clips.
