Get a head start with your planning

Get ready for the new school year with the My Dashboard tool on the Food - a fact of life website.

My Dashboard is an easy to use tool that will support your planning by enabling you to gather and store collections of resources and recipes in your own online area. No more going through the website trying to find your favourite resource!

You can save your favourite resources and recipes with just ‘one-click’ so everything you need for your lessons is in one place. Simply browse and click on the ‘+’ to collect your resources which can then be filed by year group or topic for easy retrieval! There are lots of great resources on the website waiting to be added to a personalised collection.

How it works?

To access My Dashboard, simply follow the quick, free registration process.  Once you are registered, you can create multiple collections of resources and recipes, that can be organised by class, form, theme, topic or resource type. When you are logged in, you can easily create new collections and add or delete resources and recipes.

My Dashboard also keeps a list of what you have downloaded - helping you keep track of resources that you discover and want to use again! You will also be notified when one of your saved resources is updated on the site, to make sure you have the most up-to-date information to use in class.

Support for teachers

There are four quick videos to help get the most out of the Dashboard:

“I have been contemplating purchasing software from a limited budget as part of my succession planning. However, with this site, the Dashboard etc., there is absolutely no need! I always refer teachers asking where to find help, lesson plans and advice to you. So, thank you and a big well done, so much work! And all for free.”
